Beef Teriyaki Skewers

Terrific teriyaki is a breeze with this sweet-and-sour marinate. Spend a little time preparing them the night before and you’ll have hot-off-the-grill treats ready on demand. Soy sauce and brown sugar give these savory skewers a sweet-and-sour zing your guests will crave for days after they’re gone!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. flank steak sliced thin
  • (for marinade):
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. corn starch

Directions:

  1. Combine water, soy sauce, brown sugar (or honey), ginger, garlic, cornstarch and sliced beef in a plastic bag and marinate overnight.
  2. Preheat grill to high and put meat on skewers. Grill for 4-5 minutes.
