Blood Orange Sorbet

There’s nothing cooler than homemade sorbet. For your own easy batch of Halloween-infused fun, heat blood orange and lemon juices, water, and sugar, freeze, and voila!


  • 2 Cups Blood orange juice
  • ½ Cup Water
  • ¾ Cup Sugar
  • 1 ½ Tbs. Lemon juice


  1. In a sauce pan, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add sugar and whisk until dissolved. Remove from heat.
  3. Add blood orange juice and lemon juice.
  4. Whisk to combine.
  5. Transfer mix to a bowl and cover.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  7. Freeze sorbet in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  8. Serve immediately or transfer to a container and store in freezer.
