Grilled Steak and Peach Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing

Need a hearty salad that can hold its own against other entrees? The Grilled Steak + Peach Salad is just what you’re looking for. Summer peaches give it a sweet, tart punch that’s great for picnics, barbecues, and summer dinner parties.


  • 1-1/2 Lb. NY Strip Steak
  • 1 Head of Romaine Lettuce
  • 10 Cherry Tomatoes, Halved
  • 1 Peach
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/2 Loaf French Bread
  • Blue Cheese Dressing


  1. Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
  2. Season steak with salt + pepper.
  3. Cut peach in half and remove pit.
  4. Place steak and peach on the grill for about 15 minutes (cook steak to medium rare temp). Remove steaks to a separate plate.
  5. Cut lengthwise and put French Bread on grill until toasted (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Drizzle Olive Oil on French Bread.
  7. Let steak rest for 10 minutes.
  8. While steak is resting, chop romaine.
  9. On dinner plates, place romaine, cherry tomatoes and avocado and drizzle with about 2 ounces of dressing.
  10. Slice steak to 1/4 inch slices.
  11. Cut grilled peach into fourths.
  12. Arrange steak, peaches and bread on top of salad.
